1923 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost
SOLD
This rare RHD Springfield Ghost is a magnificently maintained older restoration with recent paint to the fenders, lovely patina to the interior and plating and flawless reliability. It has toured Europe, Canada and the USA.
Chassis 393XH was originally sold to J.E. Aldred of Gillette Razors in New York city. Subsequent owners were Mrs. Wallace Voetsch of New York, Leroy Benge of New York, William C. Dawn of Delaware, and to noted RR collector Prestley Blake of Massachusetts-based Friendly Ice Cream chain. The vehicle was acquired by the current owner from Blake in 2002.
Of all the coachwork options on the Ghost chassis, the sporty Pall Mall tourer combines the appeal of open motoring with room for four and just enough space for luggage and silver service of choice.
She comes to us from a prestigious New England collection whose owner has earned numerous awards at Pebble Beach, European tours and vintage racing with a brace of the world's finest vehicles.
Simply put, this Rolls is the finest running and driving Springfield Ghost in the world!
