I just ran across this drop-dead gorgeous Triumph Italia thanks to the folks at Bring A Trailer. Here's the scoop from the eBay listing:
1964 Triumph Italia—Italian styling with British traditon in sports car engineering at its finest. The TriumphItalia was designed by Michelotti and built by Vignale in Italy on a TR3 rolling chassis. According to the Registry, only 329 were built and only 50 exported to the US and only 17 have survived. This Italia is car # 197.

This Triumph Italia was restored in 2006 with full photo documentation along wilth all receipts on all the work perfomed. Complete history of all owners since new. Triumph Italia’s were produced from 1959-1962. This Triumph Italia was not sold until 1964 in Salem, Mass. It is finished in Silver with Black interior. 62,466 miles. Motor is original to the car. It has chrome wire wheels, is fitted with an overdrive transsmission, and has Marchal fog lights. It comes with original tool kit and impossible to find original sales literature. Fabulous look. Super Italian styling for relatively (then) cheap money. A similar Michelotti designed TR often appears in Stowe, Vermont in September for the annual British Invasion Meet.
